UNDP Cambodia – E-commerce program
Stephen Rae was commissioned by UNDP Cambodia under and LTA to provide photography and video production for the E-commerce programme. The assignment focused on documenting impacts on small businesses making up a cohort of 100 members. We produced a program overview involved over a six month period to capture images of workshops, forums, UNDP launch meetings and spoke with a number of beneficiaries to the program from Phnom Penh and Battambang and other rural areas on the impact on to their staff and businesses. The project aimed to support awareness, policy development, marketing, communications and improved businesses practices.
Project Overview
Filming and photography took place in Phnom Penh, UNDP offices, Battambang and other rural areas. beign an end of program video it spending over six months capturing images from the programs happenings, interviewing partners and beneficiaries and intergrating library footage already taken with recetn filming. A concept devised and script were created both in Khmer and english. short films and photographic libary were created for UNDP for their social media, reports and websites.
Photography Assignment
Documentary photography produced for UNDP Cambodia capturing workshops, forum, training, launch meetings and online activity and protrait of beneficiaries invoolved in the project.
Filming Locations
Filming and photography took place in Mondulkiri province and Phnom Penh, Cambodia, working closely with communities, government stakeholders and development partners.

In addition to photography, video content was produced to support programme documentation and communication. The film complements the photography by capturing interviews, environmental context and real-life conditions, providing a broader visual narrative of the assignment and the impacts of the project.
